Our opening sequence is based around a young girl named Ophelia who is 16 years old and still in school. The casting is a very important part of the process as we wanted to find a young girl that fitted the mysterious look. With this being said, we didn't want a girl too young as it would have been difficult to film and make it look real. In our minds we pictures a blonde pale white girl that is very mysterious and hidden within her thoughts.
1) Isla Reid
Isla is in our group and has the right look for our ideal character. As shes in our group it will be a challenge trying to film the scenes with only two of us but we could make it work.
2)Olivia Hyam
Olivia is a friend of mine who has shown interest in our film, she goes to a different school which could have its disadvantages with timing and filming but she has the right look and confidence to be within the film.
After discussing with my group we decided to allow Isla to be the main character. This will make it easier for us to find a time to film within school, although this will leave Devyani and I to film on our own
